California’s defense took a major hit with the loss of starting cornerback Tim Mixon. He blew out an ACL this week and his absence leaves the Bears with only one returning starter in the secondary. The good news for the Bears is that the QB situation seems to be improving. Nate Longshore has not officially been named as the starter yet, but seems ahead of the competition.
