Union Leader: Cal Victory Sends Ducks Quacking Back to Eugene

“Later in the day No. 16 California should reinforce Oklahoma’s case for a higher ranking by knocking off Oregon in Berkeley. Since their season-opening 35-18 loss to Tennessee in Knoxville, the Golden Bears have won four straight and haven’t scored fewer than 41 points in a game. Cal quarterback Nathan Longshore has completed 67 percent of his passes for 1,221 yards and 14 touchdowns. Running back Marshawn Lynch, a preseason Heisman candidate, has racked up 555 rushing yards, seven per carry. They’ll send the Ducks quacking back to Eugene.”
