Quarterback to undergo foot surgery

Washington quarterback Isaiah Stanback suffered an injury to his right foot Saturday that will require surgery and end his college career, coach Tyrone Willingham said Monday afternoon. Stanback will undergo surgery Tuesday and will not be able to bear weight on the foot for six to eight weeks. Willingham said Stanback's hopes to play in the NFL remain intact."He should be fine from that standpoint," Willingham said on the Huskies Coaches Show on KJR-AM. "It's unfortunate, but that's the game," Willingham said. "The prognosis is good that he'll be able to recover and play football again at the level he'd want."
