SEATTLE -- Washington quarterback Isaiah Stanback is not expected to play on Saturday against No. 11 California after injuring his right foot against Oregon State. Coach Tyrone Willingham said on Monday that Stanback will have to undergo more tests to determine the extent of his injury. After Saturday's 27-17 loss to Oregon State, Willingham said on the radio postgame show that Stanback had a sprained foot. Willingham hoped to have additional details on Stanback's status by Tuesday. "With a sprain, I'm thinking at a minimum it will probably be a week, and that's probably being generous," Willingham said. Stanback was not listed on the Huskies' two-deep depth chart sent to the media Monday morning. Junior Carl Bonnell will be the starter against Cal with Johnny DuRocher as his backup. Stanback was injured scrambling early in the fourth quarter of Washington's 27-17 loss to Oregon State. Television replays showed Stanback's right foot and ankle turning outward as he went to plant.
