Cal-related quote:

Don't look now, but California has won six consecutive games. The Bears (6-1) are among a handful of one-loss teams still holding national title game aspirations. California entered the first BCS rankings at No. 10. "We just have to keep playing one week at a time and see where it ends up," Cal coach Jeff Tedford said. "We've been down this road before. It's very important for us just to focus on how we play each and every week so we don't stub our toe. "Each game on our schedule for the remainder of the season is very difficult, starting with this week. If you don't play at your full potential there's no question that they can ruin your day."
