Florida Times-Union: Upset watch

No. 10 California (5-1, 3-0) at Washington State (4-2, 2-1), 5 p.m.: After an emotional victory over Oregon last week, the Golden Bears could be set up for a letdown. The Cougars aren't well-respected, but they have drastically improved this season, posting victories over conference doormats Stanford and Oregon State and playing powerhouse USC close. Washington State's key is run defense. If it holds true to form - the Cougars have allowed just 98.8 rushing yards this season - against talented Cal running back Marshawn Lynch, Wazzu might have a chance. But the Cougars had better beware of Bears quarterback Nate Longshore, who has rebounded from a shaky season-opening loss at Tennessee to throw for 1,410 yards, 17 touchdowns and just five interceptions.
