Tennessee Update

Vols Backup Quarterback Jim Bob Cooter's case going to the grand jury. Jim Bob has been suspended from the team. Here is the link.

Vols DB Fellows mulls season-ending surgery
Roshaun Fellows has a torn pectoral muscle and must decide whether to have surgery that would end this season early or play through the pain. A junior who started four games at cornerback last year, was injured in the Orange and White game at the end of spring practice.
He redshirted his first year on campus, meaning he would likely lose this season of eligibility if he had surgery. Fellows had 21 tackles last year and 39 as a redshirt freshman in 2004 when he started in eight of 12 games.

Vols ready for second major scrimmage

The scoreboards won't be operational, but Saturday's scrimmage at Neyland Stadium should have a definite September feel for Tennessee as the Vols reach a key preseason milestone. Here is the link.
