Tri City Herald: Cal Returns 1,000 Unsold Tickets to WSU

PULLMAN -- Because of a large number of tickets returned Thursday by the visiting team, more than 1,000 tickets are available for Saturday's Homecoming football game for Washington State University, which plays the University of California-Berkeley.  Any tickets not sold today will be put on sale at Martin Stadium, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday. Tickets may be ordered online or by calling 1-800-GO-COUGS.  Cal (5-1) is ranked No. 10 in the country by The Associated Press, but the Golden Bears have lost the past 10 times they have played in Pullman. Washington State (4-2) last entertained Cal in 2001, a game the Cougars won 51-20.  SportsTriCities.com will post video highlights to complement the Herald's coverage of Saturday's Pacific-10 Conference game, which is not scheduled to be broadcast on television.
