NO. 8 CALIFORNIA GOLDEN BEARS. Cal had a tough time with UCLA last week in its 38-24 home game win, which just goes to prove that UCLA could really play a spoiler role in the Pac-10 before the season is over...for instance, let's say USC beats Cal on Nov. 18...UCLA could still come back and beat the Trojans, handing the keys to the Rose Bowl Game back to Cal...stay tuned, because a lot could happen between now and Dec 2. Nate Longshore was 20 of 24 for 266 yards and four TDs to lead the Bears...Marshawn Lynch was held to 81 yards on 20 carries...UCLA logged 529 total yards...the Bruins are clearly no pushover, even with a second-string QB who is looking more and more like a first-stringer. Cal 's DeSean Jackson returned a punt 72 yards for a TD...that's three this season, which ties the Pac-10 season record...he has four punt return TDs for Cal in his career, making him the all-time career leader in that category at the school...Cal will face Arizona in the desert this weekend...once again, another Jekyll and Hyde type of team...will Cal see the Wildcats team that beat a very good BYU Cougars team early in the season and just beat Wazzu on the road last weekend, or will the Bears see an Arizona team that lost to Washington and UCLA on successive weekends last month?
