DeSean Jackson, from Long Beach Poly High, is the kind of game-breaker USC has utilized to perfection in winning four consecutive Pac-10 crowns and two national championships. This time, however, he's on the other side. The sophomore receiver chose to leave his backyard for Cal, in part because he felt like the Trojans thought their program was a lock. "I felt like (USC) somewhat took it for granted," he said. "One of the reasons I came up here was to not fall into what everyone else was doing, people from Poly just going to SC. I wanted to go somewhere on my own." So, one of the nation's most electrifying players went to Berkeley, and he will give the Bears the most dynamic player on the field Saturday in Los Angeles for the first time in recent memory of the matchup.
