The Tennessean: Fulmer Challenges Crowd to be Loud Against Cal

Tennessee Coach Phillip Fulmer has made it clear to his team that it needs to make home-field advantage count this season. He also hopes the fans take advantage of the crowd-noise rule being abolished. The California opener on Sept. 2 is the first of four consecutive games for the Vols at Neyland Stadium. "The crowd has to crank it up," Fulmer said. "We have to give them a good reason to cheer, but they've got to be on their feet. That needs to be a real plus for us."
