Known for His Enthusiasm and Work Ethic on Special Teams for the Past Three Seasons, Bears Senior Byron Storer is Ready to Do Some Damage as Fullback in the Role He Has Relished All Along

After the Cal football team breaks from another one of its 24 practices in 20 days of training camp, the players stroll off the Memorial Stadium turf beneath the bright sunshine, knowing that in four hours, they'll be at it again-this time in full pads.  With the season less than a week away, the Bears are working on fumble recoveries, clock management and fake field goals.  They're the plays that have to be practiced before every season, even if they will be used just once. They're the plays that separate a good team from a great team, providing the difference between a bid to the Rose Bowl or settling for the Holiday Bowl. They're the plays that epitomize the dog days of August.
