The game remained very close until the fourth quarter, when Jahvid Best rushed for two of his five touchdowns. Kevin Riley went 16 for 25, with 253 yards. He had no touchdowns and two sacks. Best ran 26 times for 132 yards. Cal did not have a first down in the third quarter. D’Amato missed a 47 yard field goal in the second quarter. Cal intercepted 3 of Weber’s passes. Cal was penalized for 45 yards total.
