Jacksonville Times-Union: Pac-10 Game of the Week

UCLA (4-4, 2-3) at No. 10 California (7-1, 5-0), 8 p.m.: A month ago, this game looked like a barn-burner - both teams had just one loss - but the Bruins have dropped three in a row since, starting with their collapse at Oregon and furthered by debacles at Notre Dame and against Washington State. The Golden Bears will provide another stern test, featuring running back Marshawn Lynch (907 rushing yards, eight touchdowns) and quarterback Nate Longshore (1,877 passing yards, 17 touchdowns) on offense. As Tennessee can attest, Cal's defense is the weak link, yielding 375.9 yards per game, so UCLA must match its rival offensive punch for offensive punch to save its season.
