"I'm still trying to play pro football, so (coaching with TL) was a logical move for me," Ayoob said. "I can stay in the game and work with the kids. It facilitates my workouts." On Saturday, Ayoob and former TL teammate Anthony Ferguson were both at an open tryout for the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena League. They both made it through the initial cuts and are hopeful they will be among the half-dozen or so who will get called back for a final look from the team.
