Wide receiver Michael Calvin has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will miss the remainder of the season, Cal coach Jeff Tedford said Thursday. Calvin suffered the injury Wednesday during practice. An MRI revealed the extend of the injury Thursday. Calvin, a redshirt freshman, was expected to be the Bears' top receiver this season, but a sprained toe slowed him down. He finished the season with eight catches for 103 yards.
