Cal Cracks AP Poll

Cal is now ranked 25th on the AP Top 25 and 22nd on the USA Today Poll.  Here’s the link.

AZ seems beatable, which makes me nervous. OSU seemed easily beatable last year.

But still: We're a young and improving team. No disrespect intended (or at least not much), but I'm glad we've got AZ and Stanford coming up before UO (still tough) and USC (inconsistent this year but damn talented). Hopefully we can get the QB question settled, and Best healthy. MAybe we'll even get Tepper back? Would be nice to dream...

Stanford before UO? Cal always plays stanford last or second to last in the season.

Excuse me. UCLA. Of course Stanford is at the end of the season -- I must've gotten over-eager anticipating some softies. Though this year we end with UW.

Slick Rick and his powder blue patsies should be even less of a challenge than Stanford this year.
