Cal 66 WSU 3

With 2 minutes left, Cal is up 66 to 3, WSU's worst loss in school history.  Tedford did not run up the score, with the 2nd string going in early in the 3rd quarter and the third and fourth strings going in the 4th.  I think that Mongo Williams, a make-a-wish 12 year old from Fremont, even got to suit up and play QB for one drive.

Yeah that 12 year old has quite a cannon. Also, didn't I see the Cal Bear mascot running a post pattern during that last touchdown? I'll have to check the replay.

*Correction it was two cheerleaders with their legs tied. Sorry WSU...

it's amazing how little news coverage this game got after that phenomenal score. I guess since it was a regional TV broadcast, no one saw it. Besides neither Cal or WSU are ranked teams. But still....Cal looks strong!

This is a joke Cal should have already been ranked. With only 2 tip 25 teams being beaten.. I wonder if they will crack the polls this week. I figure East Carolina goes ahead of them, but does West Virginia fall out of the rankings completely.. I think not. Shouldn't we be at least # 24 or 25? It looks like we will be sitting 4-0 to start this season. Go bears!
