KCBS News: Tense Times at the Oak Grove

KCBS just reported that while the University is giving the tree sitters 72 hours to vacate the trees, the University will no longer provide food and water and will not agree to refrain from forcibly removing them.  Things became tense when tree trimmers in cherry pickers got very close to the branches that the tree trimmers were sitting on.  One of the polls had a gas chainsaw on it and it removed numerous large branches.  When one of the cherry pickers backed away, after cutting several branches, two of the arborists in it high fived each other.

You can watch the live broadcast on KGO radio, but nothing is happening right now.  I’m monitoring it, so stay tuned.
