“On my way to class this morning 20 or so UCPD officers including Mitch Celaya and Victoria Hharrison were out by Sproul Hall with 10 or so arborists. They had their shields and megaphones and equipment.
Was just up there now......there are 15 or so tards on the sidewalk. It's actually pretty relaxed given what is going to happen . Ayr is the only recognizable face. I asked UCPD where ZRW was and they said he is now a "fleeingwolf" LOL. Nowhere to be found especially since his mayoral candidacy isn't looking too good now.
Arborists are in cherry pickers taking off huge branches and pruning the redwood with all of the sitters in it along with other trees. UCPD said they are pruining before taking down the big trees and that things are going to move fast from here on out. Sitters were chucking feces at the arborists (i thought you don't do that sort of thing on a native burial ground?) A UCPD officer was reading them their rights and advising them not to throw things or "interfere" with the arborists.”
