Fox Sports: What will be the next huge upset?

It was hard to see Arizona's upset of UCLA coming, but is that the last huge upset left in the 2005 season? We asked the experts at CollegeFootballNews.com to give us the one big upset that's going to happen and one game that's going to be a close call.

I don't believe in this pick, but if I was forced to suggest a huge upset, it would be Cal over USC. The Bears are the last team to beat Troy, last time I checked, and this game's in Berkeley. The close call? Texas might get a game from Colorado in Houston for the Big 12 title. Remember what happened four years ago in Dallas? That's right, the Buffaloes prevented UT from going to the Rose Bowl.

USC vs. Cal: Going back to the scene of its last defeat (31 games ago) has to provide some type of nervous energy for the Trojans. The USC defense is, at best, average, and Cal's offense will pose some definite problems for the champs. The Berkeley home setting will give Cal a helpful boost, and Tedford's offensive bag of tricks may provide just enough to allow Cal to push the verdict into the fourth quarter. If the Bears' "D" can provide a few stops and Marshawn Lynch can allow the Bears to control the better part of the clock, this game could be USC/Notre Dame Part II.
