Daily Cal: Bears Putting On Blinders for Portland State

Lynch came back with 27 carries in last week's game against Minnesota, showing the cuts and fakes fans have grown accustomed to the past two seasons.  Portland State coach Tim Walsh hopes that career-high carry total is enough to last Lynch one more week.  "They ought to rest him this week-and rest the second guy too, as far as I'm concerned," Walsh cracked.  Walsh's suggestion probably won't fly with Lynch and fellow tailback Justin Forsett when the No. 21 Cal football team hosts the Vikings on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
