The Gophers need to run the ball better than they did against a tiny Air Force defense. They need to commit to running the ball a little more than they did against Air Force. And they need to eliminate the penalties that messed things up when they were on the verge of getting their rusty running game going.
Running the ball will help avoid another collapse down the stretch like last season.
