Cal Athletic Dept Announcement: Cal-UCLA Game to Start at 4:30 p.m. from Rose Bowl

Contest will be televised nationally by TBS.

BERKELEY - California's Oct. 8 game at UCLA will kick off at 4:30 p.m. from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and be broadcast nationally by TBS.  With the addition to the TBS lineup, five of Cal's first six games this season will appear on television. Comcast SportsNet aired the Sacramento State opener, while ABC showed the Washington game. In addition, ESPN televised last Friday's contest at New Mexico State, and TBS will broadcast this week's Arizona game, starting at 4 p.m.

Cal fans can also listen to Golden Bear football games on the Cal Radio Network - KGO (810 AM, San Francisco), KKGO Radio (1260 AM, Los Angeles), KKGO Radio (540 AM, San Diego), KTKZ Radio (1380 AM, Sacramento), KESP Radio (970 AM, Modesto) and KNRO Radio (1670AM, Redding) - or via the Multimedia link at CalBears.com.  Kickoff times for the Bears' remaining home games - Oct. 15 vs. Oregon State, Oct. 22 vs. Washington State and Nov. 12 vs. USC - will be announced once TV selections are made.
