"Rumor has it that Aaron Rodgers has not wowed the 49ers. There is one sentiment that Rodgers was a product of coach Jeff Tedford's QB-friendly system at Cal, and his mechanics are much too robotic to succeed at the NFL level. Is there something to these rumors?
The 49ers are getting to know him. He played only two years under Tedford, so it's hard to label him as simply a product of Tedford, and lump him into a group of others who've failed to hit it big in the NFL. He didn't throw at the combine. His big workout will be March 17 at Cal."
