AP: While fans jump off bandwagon, Golden Bears snap skid

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) -- When California faced almost no opposition in its latest March to Victory, linebacker Zack Follett realized the Golden Bears couldn't count on anybody to help end their three-game losing streak -- not even their fans.

Thousands of Cal boosters and students usually surround the team during its pregame walk into Memorial Stadium, but Follett estimated only about 200 die-hards showed up in Strawberry Canyon to cheer on the Bears before they faced Washington State on Saturday night.

This article highlights that Tedford is beginning to grow weary of Longshore's nonchalant attitude to the mistakes he makes.

Two fumbles, a pick and no touchdowns is pathetic.

I would play Riley against USC as Longshore will get knocked out of the game if he starts anyway.

Stick a fork in Longshore...he is done.

weary of Longshore more generally. thought it claimed Tedford was getting pissed about Longshore sucking, not just his happy-go-lucky "I don't care if we suck" attitude.

Being called out as fair weather fans is no fun, but fair.

fans would have been there if the times were correctly posted. we heard 4:55 and players walked through at 4:35...

Longshore's commitment to winning is nonexistent. All you need to do is look at his face after one of his numerous interceptions, fumbles or overthrows. He almost always has a HUGE smile on his face. I was watching the game on television this week because the pain of seeing it in person would have been too much. I suggest everyone re watch it. After both Nate's fumble and interception you can see a clearly identifiable grin on his face.
