Daily Cal: Former UC Berkeley Tree-Sitter Injured in West Bank

Former UC Berkeley tree-sitter Tristan Anderson was critically injured Friday while protesting the construction of a separation barrier in Naalin, a town in the West Bank.

I'm glad the protester discovered that after failing to stop the hegemony that is UC Berkeley that he should take on a smaller problem.

definitely not karma. In a modern democratic state, no one should have to undergoe anything like this. Protesting is a right, not a privelage.

Protesting isn't a right in other countries. Try protesting for women's suffrage in Saudi Arabia.

In any case, protesting shouldn't be a fulltime job either.

This guy obviously has some issues. He latches on to whatever protest he can-- running from place to place, escaping memories of a broken childhood or an uncle's molestation.
