California's DeSean Jackson could be moving from Heisman Trophy dark horse to legitimate contender because of a handful of electrifying plays. The junior followed his all-around stellar performance against Tennessee, which included a 77-yard punt return for a touchdown, by adding to his highlight reel in Saturday's 34-28 victory against Colorado State. Jackson scored on a 73-yard reverse and amassed 141 all-purpose yards despite nursing a bruised thumb. In two weeks, Jackson has displayed the dazzling moves and swagger necessary to give his Heisman campaign a boost. He believes he is a dangerous player even when he does not get the ball. "When they try to punt it away from me," Jackson said, "it messes up their mind."
