SF Chronicle: Betting Fool's Analysis of Week Two

Here is the link.

Cal excerpt:

After a couple weeks, we have learned the following:

* Cal has too much talent to blow a tricky road game at Colorado State. Despite two of the dumbest plays, one in the secondary and one right after that on the inside kick, Cal was able to hold off the scrappin' Rammies and preserve that Top 10 ranking.  The win was secured, although no one knew it at the time, by a stunning Jahvid Best TD run. Cal's fleet freshman has come a long way in a short time, in terms of the stage on which he performs. He was knocking over, running around and laughing at slow, 175-pound linebackers when he played at Salesian High in Richmond. The Chiefs usually played in front of a couple hundred people and a handful of scouts. Great note from his senior season: King's Academy-Sunnyvale players asked him for autographs after Best rushed for 415 yards and eight touchdowns in a 63-34 win.
