Syd Thompson a "defensive anchor"? That's a joke. The LBs--all down the depth chart--will be the anchor this year, as last.
Thompson was thrown in as a freshman last year. Eliminate the Ten. game and he had a pretty descent year for any corner let alone a freshman.
